How many albums is enough?
I have a modest number of albums on my iPod (basically my CD collection and the few songs I have downloaded) and it occurred to me that the prospect of shopping for new music elicits a "whatever" response from my inner shopper. I remember when individual CDs were somehow more meaningful and unique when I had to choose which CD to take into my car when I wanted to listen to one. Now I have my iPod with my whole collection and the diversity on that little device has faded into a big blur. One big blur of music.
What is your experience of your music collection on your mp3 player? Do you still carry a torch for individual albums or does your music kind blur in shuffle mode?
