Michael Liam Maher has arrived!

We just heard the news that Vincent and Daniella Maher's little nugget has arrived.  Vincent is online and has just posted this:

I was sitting at work today wondering what fate might bring when, all-of-a-sudden, my MTN data card arrives and a few minutes later Daniella calls me to say she’s gone into labour. Too much for a quarter of an hour, let me tell you. Scrambling to get my OS X drivers downloaded, I packed my goodies (bye bye office for two weeks), raced outside, raced to the road outside and then sat in bumper-to-bumper traffic for 45 minutes while Dan waited patiently for me at Sandton Clinic.

I learned three inportant things tonight:

1. Mobile Internet is a must of you’re going to have a baby
2. Carrying a 50cm long and 3.5kg boy in your stomach must be HECTIC (repect Dan for being so nice for the last 9 months)
3. Having a baby is one of the coolest things you will ever do.

So at 18h28 Michael Liam was born, with lots of hair like his dad and his mother’s good looks. This is his first attempt at his Magnum:

Congrats to Vincent and Daniella.  We are both thrilled to hear the news although we were expecting news on Monday.  Just goes to show that Friday the 13th can be a very good day too!
