My wife gets published!
My wife recently sent a letter in to a local women's content website called Women24 about her decision to leave her job a couple weeks ago. She called me this morning to tell me that her letter has been published on the site and not just in some obscure spot either. It was published with a headline!
All this time I have been blogging and she sends in one email, has it published on the main site under a headline! I am so proud of her. Way to go angel.

Happiness comes first
Hi Sam,
Last Friday (18th August), I resigned from my job of three years. The reason: I was miserably unhappy.
The decision to resign was not taken lightly as I do not have an alternative lined up, but my wonderful husband (who left an evil law firm a year ago) was very supportive and has encouraged me to be happy!
On Monday I was feeling quite good, as if a huge weight had been lifted, by Tuesday the little niggles of doubt started to creep in and by Wednesday I was in a full blown panic. Had I done the right thing, maybe I had made a massive mistake, what was I going to do without a new job!
Then I opened the Women24 newsletter.(The pencilbox swap)
It was as if you were speaking directly to me. Sometimes the universe gives us little signs, telling us we are doing the right thing, sometimes the universe gives us great big neon billboards!
After reading the articles and doing some very deep soul searching, I came to realise that I have done the right thing, my happiness must come first and if that means a little uncertainty, a little doubt, then I just remember that everything happens for a reason, and if I just go with the flow and enjoy the ride everything will work out. In this I have no doubt.
