It feels like it doesn't take all that much to be a lousy parent. I can always be more patient, more understanding, more considerate, more attentive ... I can always be more for our little boy and whenever I am less than I could be for him, I just feel terrible.
I just added more photos of my niece, Ariela, and I couldn't help but notice how much she has changed in the last few weeks. Here is a photo when she was a day or so old:

Ok, I realise they grow pretty quickly but this is just amazing. It must be true what parents often say, you really have to be mindful of your children as they grow up because they grow up so fast and so much happens so quickly.
